F4 Visa

After much research, several trips to the Korean Consulate in LA and a family friend traveling all the way to South Korea to update our family census records my cousin and I's F4 Visa paperwork is complete and processing.  After all the crap we went through over months I'm actually a little too tired to rant about how much the Korean Consulate sucks!  But, I'll try to get a little out by saying the staff at this place needs to be corrected, their behavior is absolutely unacceptable.  Don't expect to get eye contact when you walk up to their window that clearly says "Visa" in both English and Korean.  They will suddenly become busy by picking up the phone for a personal call to chat.  When you wave at them through the glass they know you're there but will not direct attention to you.  When you finally yell through the glass "Excuse Me!" they ask what your problem is.  Then they will proceed to give you information you need to prepare documents for Visa processing, however will leave an important mandatory document out and you will show up the following week missing that important document.  You will then be sent away and will need to come back.  Yes, this sounds crazy but trust me, I am not the only one with this experience, just go on websites like Yelp and you will find out that many have gone through the same thing.  Oh and by the way did I mention none of the staff at this place speak a word of English?!  Yeah that's right.  They are there to process paperwork for American citizens to get visas to go to Korea, yet cannot communicate with you and will huff and puff when you can't understand them.  If you are Korean speaking but your Korean is limited to average, you will get the same treatment if not maybe worse because you suck at speaking their language.  Well, enough for now, I am exhausted and my poor mom had to go after she just had her chemotherapy a few days ago and was feeling incredibly weak.  It'll be a nice experience to finally go over to the mother land and find out what I have to offer over there.
